The State Of Sunshine Poem by Gerry Legister

The State Of Sunshine

Spirit-like winged arrow flies
To the rafter sky old and high
And wait in the frozen air
To call the morning dew
And awake the sun in the sky

Sunlight makes its way around the trees
And white light whispers and sprawl
in the home of the snowy owl.

The Sunshine State and citrus
With natures orchids galore
A portrait of exhilarating beauty
Tending to life quiet uniquely

Billows of youthful sunshine
Beneath a world that is solar shine
