The Story Of Our Year 2019

The past year's almost over but it was incredible.
It went by so fast I could hardly believe it.
This year is the best and it is so memorable!
It's the year my aunt gave me some wealth to inherit!

It was truly the most blessed time for us all,
My son was brought back to life from a heart attack.
God is faithful and true, He's the God of miracles-
He restores life and fortune, there's nothing we lack!

I was ill the past year, almost at the brink of death,
Had no money for the surgery and the doctor's fees.
I prayed and I knew my God answers, I didn't fret.
He moves mountains, makes a way, and He parts the seas.

There was none, now we have it, to Him we give thanks.
Like Job He restores wealth, gives to bless us double.
No more debts, no more worry, we're friends with the banks-
They asked where it came from, we said "Our God is able! "

Now the new year is coming and we are in expectation!
For our God is true and loving, He knows every test.
This story I write to you for your information
Do good, keep praying, trust God, He gives the best!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Last January 26,2019, my eldest son had a heart attack. He was not breathing for several minutes. He had no pulse and no heartbeat, and his face turned gray, his body very cold. I pounded on his chest crying out "In Jesus' Name! " and prayed "LORD please don't take him yet."His mouth was shut and teeth clenched tight, so I took a spoon and forced it open. He took in a deep gasp of air and started to breathe slowly at first and then his skin color returned. After a few minutes he began to breathe normally and we prayed, thanking God. Later in May this year I was told by my doctor that I need to have complete surgery removing my thyroid glands. It would cost me a lot of money (which I did not have.Again I prayed and asked God and believed in faith that He will answer. In June, on my daughter's birthday, I received a phone call from my cousin who said that our aunt, who was a spinster and recently died, left us all a fortune. When I asked her how much, I almost fell from my chair. God is truly the God Who moves mountains. All things are possible with Him. We call on the God Who makes the dead alive and summons the things that do not yet exist as though they already do.(Romans 4: 17)
