I will always be amazed
Of the strength in her that day
Seeing her light just fade away
In an instant, her life changed

Many questions still remain
Why she lost her child that way
Never to understand God's plan
Or what was to come another day

Being lost and insecure
Wondering what life held for her
Unanswered prayers yet to be known
When His glory gave her a Son

As her heart remains half full
She still counts her blessings every day
For what she's been given in this world
Through so much pain and so much love

For those of us who have not felt
A loss too painful and choose to forget
She lives each second of every day
The strength in Casey, I remain amazed
