The Strong Man Dies First Poem by Robbie Squires

The Strong Man Dies First

Hide my eyes
Don’t let them see me slowly as I die
A man betrayed me once
I sulk behind my face
As it provides no relief
To the everlasting pain of my soul
Dance with the moon
And sing with the stars
No ever how famous
No one will know who you are
Just live between death and birth
But don’t live last
The strong man dies first
