The Struggle Is Never-Ending Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Struggle Is Never-Ending

Rating: 5.0

The struggle is never-ending
Each day I have to find my way again
And I never know if I have really found my way
Older is more difficult
And dying is fear near
I wish I could go on more easily
But how much I enjoy life
And no matter how deep times of happiness
It always comes back to the struggle

You are absolutely alright when you say that life is a recurring struggle in old age. A festive occasion or a moment of celebration is transitory and soon the reality comes to haunt. Thanks. Older is more difficult And dying is fear near

Nice poem. The nearer the day to leave, the stronger the urge to live. Mother Earth is beautiful!
