The Supernatural Power Of Prayer! Poem by Denis Martindale

There's precious power, borne of prayer, beyond Man's common sense,
And this great power proves quite rare to those who aren't God's friends.
Our faith transcends Man's time and space, ascending far beyond,
God's Throne of Grace, Amazing Grace, for there, we truly bond.
United in God's Kingdom there, united evermore,
The supernatural gift of prayer can thrill us to the core.

It goes beyond our hopes and dreams, beyond our doubts and sins,
Beyond the Devil's dreaded schemes, despite his smiles and grins.
The King of Kings and Lord of Lords taught us to kneel and pray,
Taught us to think beyond rewards, and even Judgement Day.
The King of Love redeemed us all, disciples know this well,
Recall Saint Peter and Saint Paul, what miracles to tell.

God's Throne of Grace still bids us near, God's favours to enjoy,
For men and women, loved most dear, and every girl and boy.
There's precious power, borne of prayer, beyond Man's common sense,
God's power that's beyond compare and never, ever ends!
