The Terror Reigns Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Terror Reigns

Rating: 5.0

The fear begins
No one wants to venture out
But stay at home and chant

Why army needs to stand?
At mosques and other places as friends
On alert with danger to life
Poor soul is lost with unrest and strife

Public hate
Imaginary stories circulate
There is “human right cry”
Amid all national flag must fly

Has perception changed?
Has patience evaporated?
The answer lies with us
We lack basic trust

Whom are we killing today?
Our brothers in uniforms on the way
Can any one sacrifice life for want of little money?
I stand for valor and national honor and it is late already
