The Three Kingdoms Poem by Brent Rogers

The Three Kingdoms

We stand up in this mountain following their tracks
These raiders tried to split us, but we have each other's backs
We may fight within us, but in all things we're aware
We test ourselves for honor, most outsiders wouldn't dare

They seek to create a war amongst us three
Five of us to track them, across the open sea
Our armies they make ready to rid us of this grief
We may differ in all else but hold true to one belief

We fight out our own disputes so best leave us alone
We let our anger guide our thoughts but we don't dare bring down the throne
Our alliance is above all else but politics run deep
When tragedy strikes one of us, it is the three of us who weep

We will act as bait to lead them on a chase
We will let our presence known, though they'll not see our face
Get close enough so their army sees a threat
We'll send chaos in their ranks and thus their doom is set

Swiftly we head back to our rondevu
No fear in our eyes even if we loose a few
Our armies lie in wait,100,000 strong
When the arrows fly, justice won't be long

All are armed with bows with the
Catapults in back
We are highly trained in the art of quick attack
Everything is packed and meant to assemble on sight
One hour, never more to set up for our fight

By the time our foes shall meet us, they'll already be closed in
When the massive horns start blowing their faces will grow dim
We've already got our boys digging one big hole
Right before before they head for home, they'll line the depths with coal
