The Town Of Good Samaritan Poem by Paula Glynn

The Town Of Good Samaritan

One night in the town of Good Samaritan
A man lies inside his lorry cabin unconscious
There is a risk the lorry could explode
Fire snaking its way to the petrol engine,

But another lorry driver arrives
Dragging the unconscious man
Away from the potentially explosive lorry
They now far away from immediate danger.

The lorry driver had been a total stranger
But something supernatural happened that night
In the town of Good Samaritan
Karma perhaps playing a vital role.

Five years later that same rescuer
Does find himself in the same situation
Lying unconscious in his lorry cabin
Being rescued by the man whose life he saved.

Both survivors and both heroes
Remembering a supernatural connection
Their friendship lasting a lifetime
The story of the town of Good Samaritan true.
