The Truth Poem by VIPINS PUTHOORAN

The Truth

Rating: 5.0

I love you like a lover
But, in search of you,
I am a pilgrim
But, not beyond reach, are you?
I'll care you like my lover.
I'll caress you as my lover.
In the lap of my passions.
You are my jasmine of heart's portico
As my scent of breath.
You are my lamp of lonliness.
To light up me in darkness.
Life is a challenge and pulling me
To become a liar.
But, if you come on my side.
I'll the mighty emperor to rule out lie.
And the lovley empress you'll be of mine.

Truth is honorable. And, here, you have written a beautiful ode to “truth.” Were great if everyone would love and respect the truth as much as you have presented here. Well done.

Interesting and romantic with beautiful imagery. The speaker correctly talks of the temptation of falsehood, yet to promise his Juliet that there will be no lies in their future is a daunting promise when he is wrestling with such dilemmas presently. It is however a lovely invitation from the prospective lover.
