The Up's And Down's Poem by Antonio Liao

The Up's And Down's

weak slippery knock
my toe, a hill
that shadows my knee,
hurt but fulfilling absorbent
of droplet sweat that linger
in my feet

thundering tears fall above
my head shallow
the pain into my feeling,
tested like mammon in the tongue,
roar down that moves
to close the teary eyes to open
of pain

please find the sweet role of
romance that quest
the lasting happiness
holding without the beam of memories
for today is the beginning to a
lasting remembrance of
your stay
