The Useless Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Useless

this drift of having to
write
without anything in mind
or purpose
sometimes
is actually life running like
blood in my fingers
in my brain
igniting nerves into
tiny fires
magnetic sparks of
electricity from
insignificant stones and
thrown away
twigs
