The visit to the countryside
I liked
Passed by the humming electric wires
The humming bees of night
My desire cosmic turned
With every step I made
And of the stars
And of the moon
My mind thought far
And burned
And on and on
Continued I
Pace after pace
The country through the night
Without a drop of sleep, I,
Pace after pace
Pace after pace
To see the Dawn ban the night stars
Then
Wonder of the seas!
Out of the waters rose the Dawn
And light from the salt seas.
