The Voice Of Humanity Poem by Zafar Khan

The Voice Of Humanity

Rating: 5.0

No bullet can silence
the voice of humanity
against a tyrant man
A shot was fired
in a distant motel
but its echo resounds
in every corner
And with this echo
his soul has passed
in to a thousand
unborn Kings
Can the spirit die?
No, its reborn
it was reborn
in Buddha, Jesus and Gandhi
A shot is fired
and I can see
he is born
in a different land.

The poem is really very heart touching. I think, however we are progressing, we are just being human and not humane. This poem really makes me understand the to realize the godly souls around us to understand the simple philosophy of life is to be humble and humane. After reading this poem I strongly feel we all must try to set an example of humanity.

The poem is really very heart touching. However we are progressing, apart from being human we are not trying to be humane. This poem really makes me understand to realize the presence of the godly souls around us and nothing but humanity can survive the human race. Thank you very much. Ravi Tirale
