The Walk Poem by Amanda Lukas

The Walk

Rating: 4.7

I sit here alone
and listen to the
footsteps of passersby
as they steadily walk,
some fast
and some slow,
towards a
destination
which is
still unknown.

And all are hurried,
and none are hushed,
and I am watching
in wonder.
