The Walk Poem by Harshvardhan Ramachandran

The Walk

Rating: 3.3

Through the Dark Night
I walk all alone
Looking For reasons
My life's Torn

Cursing and Cribbing about all things around
And then I witnessed something worth a Million Pounds
And As I looked around
The World Around me went Out Without a sound

There Was a Moment of never-ending Bliss’s
In this never ending Life which no One Misses
I saw my life running through my eyes
Every Moment, the truth and lies, the joys and Sighs

I realised that Life is more than a game of dice
And we are more in this world than a race of mice
When you look at Life as a Case
You can’t keep up with the Pace

The beauty of our life as we know
is greater than anyone could sow
The Gift of Imagination
Is Our Road to Salvation
I saw that life wasn't as dark as i thought
It’s greater than anything that can be bought

I was pulled away from the never ending bliss
Sent Back to Earth, which i thought was hit or miss
I didn't care Who Caused this experience
Whether it was God or a Drug Halluence

It saved my life from the never-ending Horror
Which would have engulfed me with terror
I Went Back home with a growing smile
My smile tore itself as long as A Mile

I walked on hoping for a recruitment
Whose life was full of accomplishments!
I saw that No Matter How much Life is torn
The tear is never worn

I Mended the Tear in My Heart
And then removed all the Darts
I didn't need to see The Light
I had inherited it, with all its might

To impart this was my Life's mission
Not the Light's but my decision
And the walk I Just had
Gave me the reason to be glad

In brightest day through my darkest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might
Burn In The Power of Truth's Light.
