The War In Heaven Poem by Harshvardhan Ramachandran

The War In Heaven

Rating: 2.8

There was a war in heaven
After years of peace
There was a disagreement
In a matter without appeasement
Satan strode out enraged
The sins of god, he said, will be paid
He went into the underworld
His words made everyone's blood curl
The battle came as a shock
The winner was but a lock
The angels from Hell had returned
Soon all the Gods were taken
As the tide began to turn
The angels of hell were brave
Especially Moloch who was the general
The gods were sent to a cave
As all light began to pale
Suddenly, there was a brilliant light
God struck Satan with all his might
Satan fell as all became night
Time broke and he fell backwards
Taking god with him he began to falter
Brave moloch rose to save his master
God couldn't even get help from a pastor
The old serpent would live again
Gods eyes were full of pain.
He saw that the battle was lost
Whatever he valued the most
Twas demolished forever.

Meanwhile in the battle
Rúber rode hard into the night
Taking the angels heads off with all his might
The army of god was falling
Just like their god was dying
Was there anything to fight for
It seems that this was all that there was

The last angel Gabriel fought with All he had
Defeating the angels of hell into the land
He knew he had to look for his god
He would have to look for the caves pod
He flew into oblivion
Would he survive is unknown

Meanwhile god, a dying shadow of strength of yesteryear fell
As he fell through an abyss his tears fell
The whole war was lost
The radiant one had won
Maybe his time had come
All hope for this god dimmed out
His chances of living blacked out.

However Gabriel caught his master and dragged him to the surface.
He was the ace
There was still a chance
Could it be a miracle?
Before God could give his thanks
He saw Gabriel dead
His dead body thrown into a tank
His blood being made into mead
The dark warrior moloch had returned.
Satan stood up and raised his scythe
God looked around
The whole world went out without a sound
He realized that he was the only one
The scythe fell down and then there were none!

Suddenly Bruce got up with a start
He was amazed at the end
And then he remembered it wasn't real
From paradise lost this was a dream
Somehow he wished what if it was true
How could he for believing is for fools
