With blood shot eyes
They took their weapons
Mortars and shells dropping
Buildings blown to bits
Casualties, loyalties and royalties
Bounties gotten men fleeing
Women screaming children trauma at the drama
The land suffered a great harm
Forgetting when it was calm
All along we tried to make it stop
But few wanted to get to the top
We prayed as hard as we tried
But our leaders who started it lied
Many still feel the pains of the war
But then we have to leave our past behind
And all of us should move ahead hand in hand
