Way of thinking

words must flower like river water
steadier and calmer
it must have peace and silence
one should enjoy it at once

it must sing
with your heart and bring
the desired effect
with an appealing art

it must show
the divine flow
with the honest drive
that makes the resolve strong to survive

it is simple way of thinking
and striking
at the deep root and
it must shoot in the right direction

we live with normal people
who always struggle
to meet with two ends
poetry must send the soothing signals

if love mars the poetry
if it lacks appeal and honesty
it shall remain on the page
like things tied and kept in cage
