The Wish Of Life Poem by william cunningham

The Wish Of Life

In the gazing moon light that reflects the stars
Shining my wish of life upon me
I've been told that only if I follow the steps that have been planted I would claim the right of my wish of life
So as long as this wish of life continues to be my destiny
I will continue on this mistoryical journey to succeed
I truly believe that it is worth going for
it could answer all my problems, dreams and wonders
As long as I don't wander in the wrong direction I shall be guided to the temple of wishes
The temple of wishes shall answer all my problems and demand my dreams and kill my wonders
My wish of life will then be complete,
I could answer all the problems in my life
I could determen my future
And forget about my mysteries
I could find my future partner and tell her we are meant to be
I just hope this ain't another false quest full of adventure
I just wish we could bond now not later
Jump into bed and tell people to call later, when we're sober...
But if only this all could be true
Although you know I'll do anything for you
You only want someone who's there for you
at the right time
I guess I'm never gonna be there at the right time
when you really need somebody
It just brakes my heart knowing if I don't succeed
you'll just pass away
like a faint memory
So this is why I follow my dreams and continue on this horrorific adventure of a journey
So I claim the wish of life
So I can be with you until my dying day
