You And My Feelings Poem by william cunningham

You And My Feelings

All I wanted was you
I guess that you were never ready
You were always telling me you need more time
But then when he walked up to you your expressions changed
It put me in a shock
One that I never expected to be in
Now I'm in a foreign land
Your still in london
I guess my sun died out
That's why I see darkness instead of light
You always kept my faith going
But once you left I broke
You would always tell me I'll accomplish my dreams
And I'll be potting these balls on the tv screen
Then I understood why
Because you always had feelings for him
You just didn't want to tell me
So you didn't hurt me
But I guess it hurts more than ever
Knowing how hard I tried
You never liked me in the way you liked him
That's why I blame you
You caused the pain when there was no need
All you had to say was you like someone else
I might of still tried
But it wouldn't of mattered
I would of seen it in your eyes that I had no chance
But to be honest you never let me look into your eyes
Because you know I can read your emotions like a book
That's why I asked you to look me in the eyes
And tell me the truth
Is your heart in him or me
If its with him so be it
I'll be here if you need anything
If you want to shed a tear
I'll be here
I'll always wait
I'll always be patient
I'll always be respectable
I'll always be understandable
I'll always be reasonable
And I'll always love you and miss you
