The World Is Not A Poem Anymore

Rating: 5.0

The world is not a poem anymore
It is a mixed-up confusion of pain and sorrow
It is an endless inadequacy of constant aching
It is problems unsolved
And irrational answers accepted and loved-

It is fools parading instant wisdom
Over networks of distant communication
From hater to hater and ignoramus to ignoramus-

It is a mix-up of minds innocent in righteous anger
And wrong in their simple facts-

A world without true free speech in too many progressive places
The silencing of challenging other opinion
By crowd proclaimed single righteous ideological answers -

Not open and free and listening and searching for objective truth
A world of narrow- minded egalitarians of achievement
seeking to bring everyone to the lowest common denominator
Not a poem and not coherent prose either.

It's a wonderful poem. In it, today's world scenario has been truthfully depicted. It isn't true for any specific country or region, but the world at large, advanced or downtrodden. I give full marks to the poem,5*****.
