The World's Creation Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

The World's Creation

This world has turned me
Inside out
I cannot cry at all
So I must shout
I've been turned into a monster
That can no longer love
I've endured endless beatings
And shed too much blood
It has been years
Since I've felt affection
I've found new types of pain
And I've made myself a collection
But it is emotion
That I am unable to feel
What can I do with a concrete heart
And eyes laced with steel
I'm trying my best
To hold onto my sanity
But there is nothing left
Not even my family
I lay here in silence
As I watch the days pass
I pray ever so often
For this day to be my last
My eyes show no feeling
The world has too much control
So much that I have no heart
And I fear I have no soul
Look to me for an example
Of what the world can make
Cold, brutal, and emotionless
Just one more big mistake
I try looking out the windows
To avoid complete alienation
There is no mistaking it
I am The World's Creation
