The Worst Act Poem by Anthony Degilio

The Worst Act

Rating: 1.0

Forgive me for what I have done,
Oh blissful morning sun,
For I destroyed a love so great,
I wish for my painful fate,
Death should come and take me away,
Because I know I should not stay,
Guilt from my own actions ache,
My wretched heart, now at stake,
I shall right this unforgivable wrong,
Or abandon myself and think long,
A monster of my own evil ways,
That deserves to die endless days.
