The Wrong Kind Of Love Poem by Kirstin Barnes

The Wrong Kind Of Love

A love that they felt,
So deep and true.
The bond that they shared,
Lies she didn't see through.

She stared through the truth,
Her eyes were so blind.
But she soon realised,
And he left her behind.

He ran from his mistakes,
To the past he once had.
He left her so miserable,
He left her so sad.

She could've been heartbroken,
For all of the above.
But deep inside,
She still felt love.

He wanted her back,
But she couldn't deside.
She wanted to feel hate,
But love she had to hide.

He beat her down,
With his constant lies.
And from that moment on,
Their love dies.

She cried and she cried,
And for weeks she was blue.
In the end she told him,
I will NEVER need you.
