Love Hurts Poem by Kirstin Barnes

Can't you tell the way she feels?
You hear it in her cries.
You see it through her heartache,
She sees it through his lies.

He broke her heart, it split in two,
He even made it bleed.
She sobbed for him, he walked away,
To comfort her distant need.

She yearns for love, love in the past,
She cries big tears of hope.
But love had gone months ago,
He walked when her heart broke.

He'd wrap her up in loving arms,
He'd take away her pain.
But now he's gone, she's feeling sad,
She starts her life again.
