Them Poem by lost lindsey

Them

I feel their eyes on our hands
Laced together with determination
I feel their eyes on our arms
Tightly clinging each others backs
I hear those words ring out loud and clear
Unnatural and disgusting,
My love for her?
It's just not normal.
They can see the way our eyes meet
And they cringe at the thought
Of our so called sinful ways
Staining their perfectly white sleeves.
Who are they to decide who I love
And if it's right or not?
9 months and going strong,
Hope that'll show them.
But who is to say it'll prove them wrong?
Maybe satans hold on us is too strong.
But it isn't just lust,
It's the love in her eyes that keeps me going.
That is the reason I smile
And the reason I laugh.
Reason I feel.
How dare they? How dare they judge
And spit on the one thing
I care about?
Well it's my relationship,
And I couldn't care less
About what you do with yours
