There are days when I feel like this
That I'm unravelling somehow
Or I'm a frog waiting for a kiss
That can never happen now...

There are days when I don't want to rise
When nothing seems to be going well
Lo and behold it's no surprise
When it all goes to hell...

There are days when the sun disappears
And I'm left alone in the dark
Or my trust in life's engineers
Barely registers a spark...

There are days when I'm so glad I'm alive
Today is just not one
But still I will contrive
To feel the warmth of the Son...
