Guillermo Veloso (September 25 1962 / New York City)
Poems by Guillermo Veloso : 202 / 229
There is a Death
In the loss of love
There is a slow murder
In silences
There is a sad hue
In a passionless sun
There are many days left in
The sentence imposed
Who knew at the start
Of this journey
That the mourning would begin so soon
And birds would sing the sonnets
At dawn's behest
