There is no excuse to be a racist,
We all are made the same.
No one belongs on some damned list,
Racism is a dirty shame.
Whether you're black, or just plain white,
Or yellow, brown, or red.
We must all learn to see the light,
And sleep in the same bed.
Somebody just called me a beaner,
Because of my last name.
I must suppose her grass is greener,
At least that's what she claims.
And I wished her a great life,
And calmly turned the page.
I can do without the bitter strife,
I don't need problems at my age.

Wow, very true, and very well put. Too bad any of us feel the need to see through the vision of such ignorance.
