These Words Hold No Agenda Poem by James Darwin Smith II

These Words Hold No Agenda

These words hold no agenda
Truthful as they could ever be
No matter if they can be trusted or not
Nothing will ever change them

Never going to live a fairy tale
Nor be Ken to a Barbie
Just going to always be myself
Dishonesty is my enemy

Sounds too good does it not?
Perfection was never about me
Flawed from head to toe
But living life as honest as I can be

So much hurt in the past
A heart pumping for a better destiny
I know it can come to fruition
Fighting with everything I have ever had

Still not easy I admit
But it shall be done
Living life how I should live
Just having all kinds of fun

Going into a rhythm I must
Again I have to learn to trust
Going all out, Being free
Finally becoming the real, me

These words hold no agenda
Truthful as they ever could be
No matter if they can be trusted or not
Nothing will ever change them

These words are without agenda, please believe
They are as truthful as they ever could be
No matter if one stays or leaves
Nothing will ever change them, nothing will ever change, me

Still not easy I admit, but it shall be done. Very beautifully expressed everything in this poem.
