Thieves Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Thieves

Do you recognize
When a thief, enters the room
Looking to steal, something as precious
As a family heirloom
Leaving one feeling
Depleted, unsure
Of what to do
Robbing your peace,
Your joy
Your hope for tommorrow
Intending on closing future
Open doors
Keep the eyes of your heart
Open, to used a invaluable token
