Despite the hurts and pains
We can always find sunshine after the rain
There is always the brighter side of things
As there are two sides of a coin, they say.
Things hurt a lot sometimes
And you feel like dying on the spot
But after your emotions settle, at last
You find out you can't help being tough.
The trivialities of life are overwhelming
We just put more color than should have been
So after wear and tear on your feelings
The colors pale and you become resilient.
You can't compare your troubles with others
As much as you can't compare your joys with theirs
One thing for sure you should remember
There's a God who watches over us, so pray!
