Think afresh
Thursday,19th September 2019

I pondered over
about life's cover
and mystery surrounded
when death has ascended

what does it do?
take away life and make you pass through
the trauma of being left alone
when the soul is really gone

the dead body speaks nothing
only silence prevails and brings
the sadness around
the futility of life is found

had there been no fear of death?
we could have taken ana easy breath
with no worry for any punishment
and present it as the carefree moment

it makes you think afresh
and dashes all hopes
about the golden side of life
which in fact is full of torn strife

we slowly get afraid
and remain dead
with its constant fear
and bear the threat when it comes very near
