Thinking of that day
That seemed to last for a lifetime.

Thinking of the people
That were so sad.

Thinking of why
You had to leave.

Thinking and thinking
Trying to be strong.

But I can’t,
I miss you.

I keep thinking of the day
That you passed away.

My heart was beating so fast,
I could hardly breathe.

I ran and I seen you on the living room floor,
Seeing everyone around you crying
And all I seen were tears.

How could I lose you?
I miss you so much.

I remember your laugh,
I remember your smile.

That is all I can do now,
Is remember you.

I hope you know,
That I miss you grandpa,
And I always will.
