I loved you from the beginning
That's been a very long time
You are the only one
Who has this heart of mine

I love it when you kiss me
Your eyes sparkle and shine
In good times and in bad
You have this heart of mine

We raise our glass to make a toast
With a glass of fine wine
The only toast I need to make
You'll always have this heart of mine

As the years pass us by
Our love will do just fine
I hope you always know
You own this heart of mine

When I've reached the end
On my headstone in words so fine
It will only read
She always had this heart of mine
