This Is Not What I Thought Life Was

Money, greed and hate.
To love this life I thought most would.
Children think naive and so do I.
Inherent bonds of matrimonial.
The driving force of men.
It took me all this life to learn,
and still again I would.
I died before I should in all the rest.
