As time, no holder no halter
Whizzed by with no care
We waited with desire
But it is here my brother
It is here my sister
This new year....

Now brother
Now sister
You are older
You are wiser
You are stronger
You are better
This new year...

So be less a whiner
Act more and better
Think harder and wiser
Work harder and longer
Lead and nurture more
This new year.....

To your family light brighter
To your enemies a forgiver
To friends be there
To fellow beings act fairer
The earth make greener
To God praise and prayer
This new year.....

My brother, my sister
May you be happier
May you prosper
May it be bountier
May it be blessed more
