OH
Why don’t you make the trees sway?
Oh why don’t you keep the fire at bay?
Waves crashing and burning,
Let the fire rise and drown me.

Lunging off cliffs in the sky,
Startling the birds that pass me by,
I know there wondering why,
I’m falling with a lie.

Friends and enemies,
Dictating these,
Things we go through,
Their thoughts pushing you.

Well they’re wrong!
They’re all wrong,
And I don’t care,
If they stare.

But I digress...
Hurtling towards the ground.
You will stress.
They will frown.

But I’m still trying
To put the pieces of this world
Together without dying
Under the weight of the world

Golden everything?
Well then everything’s a golden rule,
And rules were meant to keep on breaking.
And all the saints shout “how cruel! ”

Dancing around demons!
Oh if only they knew,
How’d they'll be screaming,
Since life’s always teaming.

OH
Why do these feelings come and go?
Were in love with our own sins.
Where does it end?
Where does it begin?

Will time ever tell?
Well then let my love out of this jail
Does it deserve this?
Do you think it’s just worthless?
Like a match underwater?
Who can’t find a sparker?

If only you knew,
How it would still shine,
Up out of the blue,
Sweet and sour like lemon-lime.

If only I was so bold,
To skip ahead in my story,
I’d find gold,
And blood and glory!

Hell or glory?
Well; I don’t want anything in between.
Death and misery,
Or a life that sparkles with a gleam!

If only I could hate you,
As much as I hate myself...
Who’d be the glue?
To keep us from falling off the shelf,
Of this place,
With a name but not a face.
