This Ship

This ship has traveled many seas
And braved alone all storms.
She can sense all hidden hazards
And needs no captain.

There are secrets stored below
And past travels whisper upon these sails.
Let others plot with compass
Maps made by her adventures.

Masters and commanders
This vessel will take no orders.
Her rudder is not broken
But guided from within.

And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
