Those Beautiful Sunsets Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Those Beautiful Sunsets

Above you are.
And beneath sometimes I sweat.
Bare we are there.
Here and stripped.
Freed from inhibitions.
Igniting.
As if we had been distant,
From a bliss missed.
Our lips then kiss.

Below me you...
Clinging magnetically.

And then the magic hits!
We lay...
Unable to disconnect from it!
And when we do what has been done,
We together know...
It never is!
Whenever the Sunrise,
Or with us...
Those beautiful Sunsets come.
