She dipped her ankles in the evening glow
She drenched herself in the hue
And when the faraway breeze started to blow
She started to chime a high land tune
The music flowed like a rain water stream
Rhythmic, wild, and for a while
We walked for long in hand in hand
Like forever in that no man’s land
She left her hands into my own
And a steady warmth filled my soul
And as a happiness filled me up
The lonely street suddenly burst
In laughter, dances and shouts of joy
When the music ended, and the dancers slept
I said “Good bye”… and I left
I never known when I fell in love
And I yet not know it full
