Those With Superior Minds Poem by Naveed Akram

Those With Superior Minds

Rating: 5.0

Those with superior minds cast a shadow on the ground,
Our willingness precedes, our readiness distances the self.
My fortune resides in the heavens, for force exists in measure,
After the reign has been achieved, wherever that may be.

I politely speak to the cats and dogs, to offer assistance,
My tread is unspeakable, many squares dance in circles.
Those with inferior minds fall into the pits of a brand new fire,
There to stay, there to weep, like the influence of a vendor.

My mind devils in the unique aspects of this tiresome fuel,
Opening the glad books, closing the destructive doors of death.
These pages revolve and shift surrounding light, like ice and fire
Wandering in one's soul and life, lighting the candles of the heart.
