Thoughts In The Snow Poem by Kaylo Littleton

Thoughts In The Snow

It comes time for me to sleep,
Wearily I lay,
I turn to see the world outside,
Dismal and Grey,
As my eyes begin to close,
I see a wonderful sight,
Tiny, little, sparkling crystals,
Filling the world with light,
They cover the world in a blanket of white,
Bestowing upon it beauty,
I drift off to sleep, and in my mind's eye,
It is this light I see,
Surrounding me with it's glow,
Emitting a radiant light,
It carries me far away,
Deeper into the night,
Surrounded by a twinkling darkness,
With nothing else in view,
I can't help but speculate,
How it doesn't compare to you,
Your's is the beauty of no compare,
My love for you blossoms anew,
And I would be happy to be by your side,
And always be with you.

I sit in the window and stare at the snow,
Oh what am I to do?
I long so much to see your face,
And to be with you...
