Threats Of Old Age Poem by DOMINIC PREMPEH

Threats Of Old Age

Rating: 5.0

To our feminine souls
The fear of a sagging breast out of rampant breastfeeding
That will not be enticing to man and babies, again
But a decorative non-juicy, earth appreciative fender
Breasts that will bow before men in shame
And refuse to stand no matter the standing strategy used
Become a terrifying dream to reminisce

The fear of a weak-walled reproductive hole
That cannot contain urine, let alone clasp manhood tight
And that will become abhorrent to any manhood it experiences
Sagging buttocks that will not wriggle or shake
Wrinkled and wasted like it has never been fondled
And sag in panties like it has never stood before
Become another fear

The fear of their adored and self-worshipped skins
Twitching and becoming nonchalant to cream
And fading like a yam tendril in dry season
The fear of stopping the use of Lip shines
Face powder, make-ups and make-overs
Flashy clothes and attention-seeking high-heels
Will shockwave them to coil

To our masculine souls
The fear of the adored wavy-hair
Becoming a highway that leads to no-where
And becoming a flashy ray-refracting object
Causing constant headache and nose drills
And a bony cheeked face that will scare women the more
Haunts their current thoughts

The fear of one's nerve-filled and acclaimed manhood
That used to praise God with a nod, when enticed
Becoming weak, un-nerved and bowing down in shame
To befriend the earth; and cannot even penetrate wet holes
And a manhood becoming a mere urinary kit
Instead of once a potent reproductive tool
Trembles a man's heart

The fear of a weak and a sagging torso
That was a resting bench for horny and troubled women
A shoulder that will not accommodate just a rain coat
The inability to carry simple objects
And eventually being thought of as weak; haunts men
What at all is man if he gains the whole world…
And loses his manhood? An old-aged man!

The fear of a sagging breast The fear of a weak-walled reproductive hole the fear of their adored and self-worshipped skins The fear of one's nerve-filled and acclaimed manhood psychologists say that there are only two very important things in this world. one is love and the other is fear.. you hve wonderfully portrayed the fear factor of old age.... very nice poem dear poet. thank you. tony
