Three Is A Crowd, My Friend Poem by Hebert Logerie

Three Is A Crowd, My Friend

Darling, I love you the way you are
And I have no plan to wage war
Against you, my love; but I only want
To deal with you. Under my tiny tent
There's only space for you and me
In our small garden, only a small tree
Is needed. We don't need a crowd
We need serenity. We don't like loud
Brouhaha, confusion and sheer chaos
We love peace, sanity and a low bass
To accompany us in our daily activities
I love you like that, this is not a tease
Every night, I love you the way you are
It's going to be only you and me at the bar.
