Through the thunder, through the lightning
all I can see is us not fighting

All I can think of is you
When I saw your face
My heart was no longer blue
It was red and beating a mile a minute
and whatever I started to say I couldn't finish

All my worries were there but you assured me not to be
Because you had my back and my heart, filled with glee

You had me from hello
and you still have me even though I'm below

Below in confusion
Below in contemplation
Below, below, below

What it is, is I have no courage to do
What my heart wants to, and that's let go

Let go of this demon,
Let go of this knight,
because like in batman's movie
It didn't turn out right

What would turn out right is you and I
Collaborating and reaching the sky

The sky is the limit but I see the moon, sun and stars
and I know together
You and I would Make it so Damn far
