Throughout The Years Poem by ESPN CHICK

Throughout the years I've bottled up this pain
Held onto it even though it almost killed me
I don't know why I bottled it all inside
I guess I thought nobody would understand

I was right nobody does understand
It's a different kind of pain
Pain of agony and desperation

Pain has followed me everywhere throughout the years
I swear I was born with it
Being in pain is nothing new with me

I was just made this way
Made to be broken and in pain
But throughout the years it feels like it has gotten worse than before

I feel so trapped and alone
Wish someone would and could save me
I need to be set free
