The moon stands alone in the sky as the most beautiful sphere of inspiration
An average star I am, so I approach with sheer intimidation
She tells me her shine is borrowed, stolen from the sun
And she could never shine by the light of another one
But the sun is just a star, I say, so if another shine she ever need
I'll be waiting here for her, waiting patiently
So I sit and wait for sun to set
Knowing at night, pain, I forget
Just marvel at the beauty of the moon
Joyed, even knowing morning's coming soon
