Time Poem by Ketki Athavale

Time

So many lives
So many dreams
So many heartbreaks
So many unfulfilled

The ocean tides
The song of birds
The shades of sand
The rustling leaves

The mountain peaks
The starry nights
The song of birds
The rustling leaves

The ocean tides
The skies above
The pouring rains
The summer skies

They remember
While we perish
Carry us through
The eras of time

About a concept of 'TIME': ''People like us who believe in physics know that the distinction between the past, the present and the future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion'' (Albert Einstein) but time passing by.. first make us older.. then 'gone'.. :) Thanks for sharing, Ketki Cheers

The leaves rustled twice to carry us through. Nicely written, Ketki
